Mental health webinar series begins November 30

There will be four seminars focused on different topics.
The schedule is:
—November 30: "Mental Health 101"
—December 7: "Especially For Our Youth: Trauma, Isolation to Socialization"
—December 14: "Grief: Getting Through the Holidays and Beyond"
—December 21: "Mental Health and Substance Abuse"
In the first, panelists will define, discuss and answer questions about disorders such as depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder.
The format will allow for a few questions from the audience who can join the ZOOM webinar live.

The council bestows the award to individuals who display extraordinary efforts to carry out the Jewish value of tikkun olam, making the world a better place, organizers said.
Fromm is the immediate past board chair of the council, serving as its 28th leader since the organization's founding in 1944.

The council is the umbrella group for 125 local Jewish Community Relations Councils and 16 national Jewish organizations that builds bridges with other ethnic and religious communities, supports American pluralism and fights antisemitism and bigotry, organizers said.
