Long Term Assisted Living

We have a mother, 56 year old family member with severe bipolar. She has lived alone for about 4 years, but her mental health has quickly deteriorated. She will go off her medication if she thinks no one will notice. She is on disability, as she is unable to work. We are uncertain where and how to get the proper information on a long term assisted living list. Ideally, we'd like the facility aid in administering medication (given her the medication to take and making sure she self administers), we'd prefer a private room, a facility that plans events and outings, and most importantly a facility that can ensure she's safe and cared for day-to-day. We don't want life to stop for her, we simply want to know that she is safe, properly medicated, and not at risk of hurting herself and others on a day to day basis. We are in the Orange County, CA area. Could someone point us in the right direction? -Looking for guidance
