WOMEN'S CENTER FOR WELLNESS: WISEWOMAN Program information provided by: United Way of Connecticut

Wisewoman services teach women ages 30-64 years who have little or no health insurance how to eat healthy, be more physically active, and quit smoking to prevent heart disease. Services may include blood pressure and cholesterol screening, testing for diabetes and osteoporosis, and lifestyle programs that target poor nutrition, physical inactivity, and smoking.
