The threat resulted in a closure of the base and street closures within a 3,200-foot radius. As a precaution, authorities advised residents to "shelter in place" and stay away from windows, or evacuate.
"Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians performed a very thorough and detailed search of the SUV," Wilson reported. "No explosives, narcotics or weapons were found. The investigation continues."
