SSU Drug and Mental Health Forum

April 02--Shawnee State University, in collaboration with Portsmouth City Schools and the Southeast Ohio Teacher Development Collaborative (SEO-TDC), will be hosting a forum focusing on drug and mental health issues related to education from 6-7:30 p.m. on March 30 at the Portsmouth High School Conference Room.

The forum will comprise of a panel with members ranging from a State House representative, local juvenile court judge, Job and Family Services, SSU and school guidance counselor, superintendents, education faculty/teacher and an ODHE leader. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Robert Radway, SEO-TDC, to tie together how drugs and mental health issue affect education.

Marietta College, Muskingum University, Ohio University and the University of Rio Grande are also participating and sponsoring the forum across southeast Ohio.

The Portsmouth High School Conference Room is located at 1225 Gallia Street, Portsmouth, Ohio. Refreshments for the forum will start at 5:30 p.m.
